With the new Archery GB classification system Bowman classifications cannot be obtained with practice scores. Shooting Administrative Procedure 7 applies: (e) Bowman classifications (3rd, 2nd, 1st) (iii) Standards: All scores must be shot under Archery GB Rules of Shooting, at a meeting organised by Archery GB or a body affiliated to Archery GB, or at any associated club target day (Rules of shooting – Rule 313).
For a Bowman classification to be obtained the score status on entry to Golden Records must be set to other than Practice. The status of Club Event caters for organised club shoots that are not competitions, but shot as if they are a competition. If a score with a status of Practice is entered, Golden Records will restrict the classification to the Archer tier.
